After 2 days of strong winds, conditions finally became good enough to head out diving again. Scott is only here a few more days and anxious to get back diving. We chose Conch Reef for our first dive and Snappers for our second. Unfortunately my camera housing started leaking at Conch Reef. I was able to surface without complete flooding, but had to go buy a new GoPro dive housing. The plastic latch piece broke.
Yellow Sting Ray
The Conch Reef dive was pleasant, but with some current, which leads to fewer fish. I did however see the cute little Balloonfish that was here on my last visit.
Snappers usually has the most fish of any reef site, but today was not the same. Again I think the strong current kept them from schooling up as they sought protection in behind the coral.
